Our Seedlings

Formats

We hope this summary of the formats in which our seedlings are available will help you choose what's best for you!

3.25" Square Pot

Our largest seedlings come in 3.25" deep square pots. They are the most mature and resilient seedlings you can get from us. They are closer to the harvest stage, and can withstand greater environmental stresses than the seedlings in smaller formats, but they are more expensive on a per-plant basis.

4-pack

Seedlings in 4-packs will be smaller than those in the 3.25" pots, but not quite as small as those in our 6-packs. Each cell is approximately 2" x 2"

6-pack

6-packs are our most economical way to get more plants per dollar. Each cell is approx. 1 inch x 2 inches. Compared to plants in larger pots, seedlings in 6-packs are younger, which means they're a bit more fragile, and they'll take a little longer to mature.

Quality

We don't settle for anything less than the best. We work hard to grow the highest quality plants possible, and we stand by the quality of our products. If you've purchased plants from us and are not satisfied with the quality, please get in touch.

Organic

All of the vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers we grow are certified organic. We follow the strict regulations set out in the Canadian Organic Standards and each year complete a rigorous process of inspection and audits with our certifier, Ecocert Canada.

As defined in the Canadian Organic Standards, General Principles and Management Standards (CAN/CGSB-32.310) “Organic production is a holistic system designed to optimize the productivity and fitness of diverse communities within the agro-ecosystem, including soil organisms, plants, livestock and people. The principle goal of organic production is to develop operations that are sustainable and harmonious with the environment”.
